Eagle Glen Golf Course

Picture
Central Michigan´s premier public facility, designed by Jerry Mathews, will test  your game on every level. Situated on 188 acres of  rolling Northern Michigan  terrain, Ray Hearn and Jerry Mathews of Matthews and Associates have created a  little corner of Scotland right here in Central Michigan. Among the unique  features of the course are bent grass tees, greens,  natural wetlands, 70 bunkers  and hundreds of mounds. Phone: 989-588-4424 www.golfeagleglen.biz

Snow Snake Ski & Golf

Picture
Snow Snake Golf Course offers a challenging, scenic "Up North Course, Close By".  Why spend hours  driving when you can spend them on this picturesque 18-hole  course. It´s beauty  originates from the natural rolling terrain and tree-lined fairways carved out  of a hardwood forest. When designed, special attention was given to retain  natural hazards and foster undulating greens. Come and play  this unique course  and experience golfing at it´s finest. Firefly Golf Links

Picture
Built in the early 1930´s Firefly is Clare County´s oldest golf course. Expanded to 18  holes in June 1992, Firefly´s demanding greens along with water coming into play  on 13 holes prove that a course doesn´t have to be long to be challenging.  Bluegrass fairways built through gently rolling woodlands combined with friendly  hospitality, offering a pleasurable  round whatever your handicap. The  clubhouse includes the pro shop and the Brassie Lounge featuring a hearty  sandwich menu, daily specials along with cocktails, beer, wine and soft drinks.  Phone: 989-386-3510 golffirefly.com

Devil's Knob Golf Course

Designed and built by the late Duane Baumer, Devil's Knob is a public golf course with 9 holes scenically located amidst the beautiful rolling hills in Hamilton Township, . The log clubhouse sits near the corner of N. Rodgers Rd. & E. Cranberry Lake Rd. No tee times are necessary, but calling before coming is a good idea if wanting to avoid busy league times. Also, the course occasionally closes for large scheduled outings or events.  The holes range from par 3 to par 5 with 1 sand trap and 2 water holes. Our fairways are wide, making them very forgiving for beginners to the sport! A putting green is situated near the first tee. On foot or riding, we hope to see you soon! Phone: 989-539-5662

Tamaracks Golf Course

Picture
Conveniently located  just 20 minutes north of the Doherty Hotel three miles  off  U.S. 27 freeway, where "Northern Michigan Begins". The phrase "Challenging  but  player Friendly" is overused in the golf world, but in the case of The  Tamaracks, it is more than fitting. Don´t let it´s relatively short layout fool  you. Water on half of the holes, along with tree-lined fairways and well  placed bunkers, make us a shotmaker´s course. Our low pressure, family-run staff will make sure your day spent with us is  a memorable one! Phone: 989-539-5441 thetamaracks.com
