Mid Michigan College's Harrison Campus currently features an amazing walking and mountain biking trail system that is mainly maintained by volunteers of a local mountain biking club. Three miles of walking trails and nineteen miles of mountain biking trails and now a disc golf course wind through the 560-acre campus.
The trail system provides community members a fun walking/riding location, and is also used by organizations for a variety of races and events.
The newly completed Poet Family Outdoor Education Center (OEC) now serves as the official trail head for the system of walking and biking trails, and also serves as the starting point for the 18-hole disc golf course. The OEC also features restrooms that are available sunrise to sunset for trail goers.
